Researching from Home

You can research from home, work, or anywhere with Internet access!

When you click on the name of the databases in the box to the right, you should be prompted for your ULINK ID and password.  After that, it shoud function just as it does on-campus.

Many articles are now available electronically.  For those that are only available in paper in the library, you can request a photocopy via ILL (see below) When you are in a database, click on the to get to your retrieval options!

Using Interlibrary Loan

If you find material (books or journal articles) that are NOT available here at UofL, you can use InterLibrary Loan (ILL).

When you are in an article database or WorldCat, you can use the button to access your ILL account and request the item. We will try to get it for you (at no cost).

If you haven't set up an ILL account, click here.
