What is EndNote?

EndNote allows you to:

  • Organize your bibliographic citations easier
  • Format references in your chosen citation style
  • Import and export references from databases
  • Use EndNote with Word to type your paper and compile your bibliography simultaneously 


*Other types of citation management software are also available for free to UofL faculty, staff, and students including Reference Manager and WriteNote. An open-source option is Zotero.
