Welcome! On the eBooks Guide you will find information about available eBook collections, tips and tools, and instructions for accessing them.
eBooks are books that are available electronically or digitally. Many can be downloaded to a computer, e-reader, or other equipment. Some have specific limitations or owner requirements. Many of the U of L eBooks are limited to use within the libraries, or by U of L students and employees. Freely available eBooks are also listed. We have several eBook collections within databases, as well as individual books within the Library Catalog. We also have popular titles that are currently available on our Kindles. The Kindle titles can not be downloaded to personal e-readers at this time; however, U of L students and staff can borrow a Kindle through the Kindle Program. See the "blue" tabs at the top of the page for more information about the eBooks and eBook collections at U of L.
Use the Library Catalog to find individual eBooks. If UofL has access to an electronic version of the book, there will be a link in catalog record.
