Television 1950
Made by RCA Victor, Camden, NJ Bristol Model Wood, glass, metal The Gerald Berg family of rural White Hall, Illinois, purchased this television for $371.62 in 1951 from Westerman Brothers in White Hall, IL. The Bergs put $100 down on the television and paid the balance with the proceeds from the sale of a hog. The family could only receive one channel on their new set and that was achieved by using a booster unit connected to an antenna on a hill 600 feet away.
