Guide to Resources in the University Archives & Records Center

The University of Louisville's Archives and Records Center has many collections that document the history of transportation in the Louisville area and beyond. Our railroad history collections are particularly strong. This guide highlights these materials, and provides a starting place for research.

These collections can be used in the Archives and Special Collections research room (Ekstrom Library lower level room 17) anytime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. You do not need to make an appointment. See Planning Your Visit for more information.
